The reason I read the Cobble Street Cousins: In Aunt Lucy’s Kitchen, is because it was recommended by Plumfield Living Books Library. I was also assigned this book, later to read and review by the same library. I loved reading it! It is a happy story about three cousins who wanted to create a cooking business. Another reason I enjoyed this book is that there are
no bad words said in this book, and it is a book perfect for kids.
If you do read and like this book, I would definitely recommend Clementine by Sara Pennypacker. Clementine’s stories are just as fun, as the ones you might find in your aunt’s attic. Another book this reminds me of is In Grandma’s Attic by Arleta Richardson. The main character finds amazing stories in her attic just like the cousins did.
In Grandma’s Attic is a kid friendly book, and I recommend this book for all those who enjoyed Cobble Street Cousins. Aunt Lucy’s Kitchen is a book for all ages but I think especially 2nd -5th-grade readers will love this book like I do. I also think that this is a great book that everyone will enjoy very much. The whole series is a fun little adventure from your couch.
